Hey, I’m Emily!

Born and raised a snowboarder on the prairies, there’s nothing more exciting for me than getting to serve with a snowboarding and skiing Bible school in the mountains of Vancouver, BC!

I did my Snowboarders and Skiers Discipleship Training School (SDTS) in Vancouver in 2023 and absolutely loved it, so I decided to stay! I joined the staff team at YWAM Vancouver that fall, and soon after had the opportunity to help staff the next SDTS and lead an outreach team to Japan. It was such a gift to walk with students as they learned more about Christ and discovered how they could be part of completing His great mission (Matthew 28:19).

In 2025, I stepped into leading our Discipleship Training School (DTS) here in Vancouver, and it’s been incredible to journey alongside both students and staff as we grow together in our relationships with Christ and with one another.

I’m passionate about Jesus, discipleship, and seeing lives transformed by His love. Serving in Vancouver has been such a joy, and I can’t wait to see all the amazing things God continues to do in this city and on the mountains!
